This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

The Service is a publication. It has no user accounts, no login, no shopping facility, no newsletter and no messaging service, so a great deal of what a general privacy policy usually covers simply does not arise here. This document describes only what actually happens.

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

This information is generated by Our hosting provider in the ordinary course of serving pages to You, and is used for security monitoring, troubleshooting and understanding aggregate traffic levels.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

At present the Service does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and does not run advertising. No third party places tracking technologies on Your Device through this Website.

If that changes — for example if We introduce analytics or display advertising — We will update this Privacy Policy before doing so, describe what is being set and by whom, and, where required by law, obtain Your consent through a cookie preferences tool before any non-essential cookie is placed. You would be able to withdraw or change that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

  • Email correspondence, including corrections and editorial enquiries: up to 24 months from the date of the last message, so that We can handle follow-up questions and keep a record of corrections made to published articles.

Usage Data

  • Server logs generated by Our hosting provider (IP addresses, access times): up to 24 months for security monitoring and troubleshooting purposes.

We may retain Personal Data beyond these periods where We are required by law to do so, where the data is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or where residual copies remain in encrypted backups scheduled for routine deletion. You may request information about how long We will retain Your Personal Data by contacting Us.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. This means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of Your jurisdiction.
